Horse are not for eating.  That is the message.

Thousands of young, healthy horses are slaughtered for human consumption and their meat shipped to countries like France, Belgium, Italy and Japan.

The Int'l Fund for Horses has been working to end the slaughter of horses through legislatures, the Courts, and government bodies, both in the U.S. and abroad.

No matter how much success we have, as long as there is a demand for horse meat, there will be horse slaughter.

We are therefore creating a campaign to make eating horse meat taboo around the world.

We are looking for a slogan to capture public attention and engage their imagination.

Yes, we have professional advertising "Mad Men" working on it, but we also want input from you.

Bear in mind when entering that we will be translating the slogan into several languages. Naturally, the slogan should be short and snappy.

We will narrow the field, and offer our final selections for a national vote.

The winner will receive . . . well, we haven't quite decided on that yet.  Stay tuned for details.
